Our London Studies Group launched in spring 2021. After a slow start at the beginning of the easing of restrictions, the group expanded quite rapidly and soon reached the capacity for our venue and activities. So sadly, the Group is now closed, with a waiting list.

All Group Members are expected to take turns to research a small area of London and to present this to the rest of the Group, They then follow this up by leading a walk or activity that illustrates the area they have researched. These walks typically are of 3 - 4 miles over several hours so a reasonable degree of physical fitness is essential.

Our excursions have included the Writers Walk. the Sky Garden, Bank of England and Leadenhall Market, the Inns of Court and Royal Courts of Justice, Kensington Gardens and most recently London Docklands.
