Welcome to Medway U3A
We are a charity with over 600 members and are open to people who are in their third age (when full time work or education have ended) who want to live learn and laugh with likeminded people.

We reached our 15th anniversary in 2024 and held a celebration at Rochester Corn Exchange on 13th September. This allowed everyone to hear and see what our groups have achieved.
We hold monthly meetings at the Corn Exchange with a speaker, organise outings, run quizzes, study days and regular social events.
What makes us different are our interest groups, of which we have over 100, covering a huge range of subjects. Members form and run these groups, covering as wide a range of topics as they want.
You can have a look on our Groups page to see what Medway U3A has on offer and contact the Group Organiser. Under our self-help learning principle within each group there is no distinction between the learners and the teachers, they are all U3A members. No qualifications are sought or offered. Learning is for its own sake.
We hope that you will find something of interest and decide to join us.
We are a charity and all our income is generated from our membership fees and events.
